Volunteer with Zeus’ Rescue!

 

Volunteers are vital to our mission and help ensure our dogs get out of the building and into the neighborhood where they can meet new people.  They help provide social time with our cats and keep their brain alert through play time.  Our animals look forward to spending time with every volunteer that walks through the door, and our staff are grateful for the calmer dogs that come back from their walks.  

 

Not able to get outside with the dogs?  That’s ok!  We have other ways you can help out.

  • Spend time in our quiet room with dogs who might need a break from the loud kennels
  • Clean cat enclosures and the cat room
  • Create enrichment materials for dogs and cats
  • Take pictures to help get animals adopted quicker
  • Organize and sort through donations
  • Teach dogs new tricks or more desired behaviors
