MEET PIPER - ONE OF OUR 8 CITY PARK PUPS! ??
Remember the shy little girl hiding behind me in the City Park rescue video? THIS IS HER NOW thanks to a wonderful foster home. ??
And look at that smile!
Piper is about 7 months old, 15 pounds, and absolutely thriving in foster care. Considering the scary start she had, we are amazed by how quickly this sweet girl has figured out that home life is pretty fantastic.
?? Crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night
?? Nearly house trained and learning to tell you when she needs to go out
?? Great on a leash and loves her daily walks
?? Plays happily with her foster dog brother
?? Has a VERY important toy collection that she pulls out, tosses around, and then gathers back together
?? Believes every good play session should be followed by an equally impressive nap
?? Loves laps, cuddles and giving kisses
?? Sweet, gentle, affectionate and eager to please
Piper is also perfectly happy entertaining herself, which her foster family says makes her incredibly easy to have around.
At only 15 pounds, she's that magical "small enough to scoop up, but big enough to actually go places with you" size.
She's still a puppy and learning her boundaries, but she redirects easily and genuinely wants to make her people happy.
And most importantly, that shy, frightened little dog we first met in City Park is learning what it feels like to be safe, loved and part of a family.
Now she just needs that family to be hers forever. ????
