Velma and her sister, Daphne, hold a bittersweet little piece of Zeus' Rescues history - the final two dogs ever dumped over the fence at our old Napoleon location before we closed that chapter, tore down the fence, and moved to Freret.
Not exactly the grand farewell we envisioned... but Velma is making sure her story doesn't end there.
At just 1.5 years old, Velma is ready to trade her rough beginning for the loving forever home she has always deserved. While she shares history with her sister, Velma is absolutely ready to find her own spotlight and write her own happy ending.
