Meet Puppy Love!
Ok, his name is a lie. He is not a puppy. He is a grumpy old man set in his ways. And honestly, maybe that's how he has been his entire life. To find the loving side of this senior, you must endeavor on a journey of patience, training, and a deep acceptance that this boy will cuddle you from a distance.

Chasing toys
Hoarding toys (the squeakier the better)
Going for walks
Food
Naps
And testing your boundaries while he sets his
In all honesty, I love this dog. He will grumpily learn when you set limits and the joy that comes from being allowed to pet him is up there with the full bodied excitement of Mardi Gras Day. Because you know how hard you worked to get to both situations.
Puppy Love wouldn't mind another calm dog in the house. His old age doesn't mean he can't find time to play now and then. And afterwards, he is happy to find his own toy lair and nap away until the next bout of energy or angst or hunger rouses him.
